What your team learns in two hours

Participants learn to spot hallucinations in AI answers, those moments where the model invents a source, figure or name that looks credible. They practise checking sources and verifying claims, so they know when an answer can or can't be forwarded to a client without checking. And they learn where the line lies with company data, so what you should and shouldn't put into an AI tool.

The difference with a classic training is that people discover it themselves. Anyone who fails to solve a puzzle because they trusted a made-up source never forgets that lesson.

How the escape room unfolds

Teams are locked in the Hallucination Hotel and work their way through a series of rooms. Each room contains AI answers with hidden errors, from a made-up legal article to a figure that comes from nowhere. Only by finding the right error do you get the code for the next door. Our game host keeps an eye on the time and helps teams that get stuck. We wrap up with a debrief in which we walk through the most dangerous errors and translate them to Monday's work.

What exactly is an AI hallucination?

A hallucination is an answer in which an AI model makes up information that looks credible but isn't true, such as a source that doesn't exist or a figure that comes from nowhere. Models give such answers with the same confidence as correct ones, which is why they're hard to spot.

What does an AI escape room cost?

The price depends on group size and content, so we work with a tailored quote. After a 20-minute call you'll know exactly where you stand.

Do participants need to know anything about AI?

No, but the game works best for teams that already use AI. Beginners can easily take part in a mixed team.

Is this a real escape room with locks and rooms?

Yes, we run it at your own location. Teams sit in small groups at tables and work through different rooms via screens, but the setting, the time pressure and the collaboration make it a real escape room experience. We bring the assignments, tools and game hosting.

Which AI tools do you use?

We use the most common AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. At the end of the game you'll see which tool works best for which task.

Do participants need to create their own account?

No. We arrange access to the tools during the game. Participants can take part without creating an account beforehand.

Can Hallucination Hotel also be run online or hybrid?

Yes, it can run fully on location, fully online or hybrid. For the best atmosphere and collaboration we recommend a physical location, but we tailor the setup to your situation.

What do we need to arrange ourselves?

A room with a table setup and stable wifi for the whole group. Nothing else.

How quickly can you schedule it?

Plan the escape room at least two to three weeks in advance, especially if you have a specific date in mind. For busy periods we recommend booking further ahead.
