Microsoft Copilot

Copilot training one-on-one

The Copilot training one-on-one is a personal two-hour training where you're the only participant. You learn to use Microsoft 365 Copilot professionally in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, and you build your own custom Copilot during the session that you can use immediately. The training is 80% practice and 20% explanation, entirely based on your own work. Participants save 30% of their time on repetitive tasks.

You take the training at our office in Utrecht at Lange Viestraat 2b, within walking distance of Utrecht Centraal station and with ample parking nearby, or at your own location. You choose the day and time. You receive a certificate afterwards.

You are the only participant

In a group training, you always move at the group's pace. Not here. The full two hours are about your work, your files and your questions.

If you get stuck somewhere, we go deeper into it. If you understand something instantly, we move on. You don't have to wait for anyone else, and you don't have to pretend you already understand something.

That's also why two hours is enough. In a group, a lot of time goes into alignment and examples that aren't about your work. Not here.

80% practice, 20% explanation

You won't sit listening to everything Copilot can do. You spend 80% of the time actively working at your own screen, with your own email, your own documents and your own tasks.

We use the 20% explanation only where it's needed: why a prompt does or doesn't work, where Copilot lets you down, and how to handle company data responsibly. After that, you're straight back to work.

The result is that you don't go home with an idea of what Copilot can do, but with finished work and a running assistant.

You build your own custom Copilot

During the session you build your own AI assistant based on your own work and your own documents.

Think of an assistant that knows your writing style and uses it to draft emails and proposals, or an assistant that answers questions based on your own files. Because we build it with your own material, you can use it the very next working day. No programming knowledge required.

Please note: what exactly you can build depends on your Microsoft licence. We check this beforehand.

Who is this training for?

This training is mostly taken by directors, board members and managers. People who want to work faster with AI themselves, but don't want to spend half a day on a group training and would rather not sit in a room with their own employees.

That last point matters more than you'd think. In a group, as a director you're less likely to ask the question you actually have. One-on-one, you will, and that's exactly why this format works.

Other professionals who want to speed up their own work and prefer to do so personally rather than in a group also take this training. It works well for leadership, marketing, finance, sales and operations, and for any role with lots of recurring tasks. No prior knowledge is required, as we tailor the training to your knowledge level and needs beforehand.

Want to bring your team along afterwards? Take a look at the Microsoft Copilot training for groups of 3 to 30 people. Many directors do this session themselves first and then book a training for the department.

Training content

Phase 1. Introduction to Copilot and generative AI

Short and concrete: what generative AI is, why it's so powerful, and exactly where you'll encounter Copilot within Microsoft 365.

Phase 2. Prompting like a pro

Working well with Copilot starts with how you communicate with AI. You practise with proven prompting principles, learn how to get consistent, usable output and which pitfalls to watch for.

Phase 3. Application in Microsoft 365

You work in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams with your own files, build your custom Copilot and discover how to hand off repetitive tasks.

Phase 4. Next steps

We look at where the biggest AI opportunities lie in your work and you get concrete next steps to continue on your own.

What does it deliver you?

Frequently asked questions

How long does the one-on-one Copilot training take?
Two hours. Because you're the only participant, no time is lost to group pace, so two hours is enough to get real results.
Where does the training take place?
At our office in Utrecht at Lange Viestraat 2b, or at your own location. You also choose the day and time.
How do I reach your office in Utrecht?
Our office is within walking distance of Utrecht Centraal station, so you're there in no time from the train. Coming by car, there's ample parking nearby.
How much theory is included?
Very little. You spend 80% of the time actively working in Copilot and get 20% explanation, exactly where it's needed.
How much time will I save?
Participants save 30% of their time on repetitive tasks within 30 days. The exact result depends on your work, but the biggest gains are usually in email, documents, reporting and recurring standard tasks.
Do I need prior experience with Copilot?
No. We tailor the training to your knowledge level beforehand, so we start exactly where you are.
What if I don't yet have clear tasks to practise with?
No problem. We look together at your daily work and determine where the biggest time savings are. You don't need to prepare anything.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence?
Access to Microsoft 365 Copilot is required for the full programme. We check which licence you have beforehand and tailor the training accordingly.
When can I start using my custom Copilot?
Straight away. We build it during the session based on your own work, so you can start using it the very next working day.
Is one-on-one better than a group training?
That depends on what you want. One-on-one is faster, fully focused on your own work, and you can ask anything freely without your team present. A group training works better if you want a whole department to adopt the same way of working. Many directors do this session first and then book a training for their team.
What does the training cost?
We tailor the price to your knowledge level and needs. Request a quote and we'll get back to you.
Does the certificate satisfy the AI Act?
You receive a certificate you can use as evidence within your approach to AI literacy. The AI Act requires organisations to ensure employees have sufficient AI knowledge. We provide the training and the evidence; responsibility for the full policy remains with the organisation.
