Legora one-on-one training for lawyers

A personal training of two hours in which you get all the attention. We come to you, on location anywhere in the Netherlands, and practise on your own cases.

The Legora one-on-one training is a personal training of two hours for a lawyer, legal professional or compliance officer. You have the trainer entirely to yourself, so we work only on your cases, your questions and your pace. You'll learn to use Legora more sharply on your own work, safely with client data, and in a way that keeps your AI costs under control.

More and more legal AI providers, including Legora, charge based on usage. Your prompt therefore partly determines your costs. A sharp, well-structured question delivers a usable, substantiated answer first time, while messy prompting leads to more attempts and more usage. In a one-on-one session we zoom in exactly on where you can gain that benefit.

The programme follows the same eight modules as our group training, but fully focused on you. No prior knowledge is needed and you don't need to be technical, because we start from the basics and work at your level.

What's in the training

Why one-on-one?

In a one-on-one training there's no group to accommodate. All the time and attention goes to you. As a result, we cover a lot in two hours: we skip what you already know, go deeper into what you find difficult, and practise only with cases and tasks you genuinely encounter every week.

You ask your questions directly and get an immediate answer, without waiting for the rest of a group. We work in your own environment, on your own laptop, so everything you learn immediately fits how you work. By the end you haven't just seen it, you've done it yourself on your own work.

The programme

Eight short modules, fully tailored to you. Built up from the basics towards your own legal practice. Because it's one-on-one, we work through them in a focused way and concentrate on what delivers the most value for you.

  • Sharp prompting and data safety. You write a request that immediately produces a usable, cited answer, and you know which client and file data may and may not be used.
  • Smart prompting, lower costs. A sharp prompt hits the mark first time, meaning fewer attempts and lower token usage.
  • The Assistant as a sparring partner. You ask questions about documents and files in any language and get answers with source references you can check yourself.
  • Tabular Review. You work faster through large document sets and pull out key data, deviations and risks, handy for due diligence and review at scale.
  • Drafting in Word. You produce first drafts, redlines and clauses within the Word integration, based on your own examples and playbooks.
  • Research and regulation. You carry out legal research with cited sources and quickly get to grips with long rulings or regulations.
  • Workflows and playbooks. You capture recurring steps, so standard checks become repeatable and you don't have to keep re-prompting.
  • Your own case. You apply everything to your own work and feel the time savings straight away.

What does the training look like?

  • 90% practice, 10% explanation. You learn by doing it yourself.
  • Your own laptop. You work in your own environment.
  • Fully tailored. Focused on your cases and your pace.
  • Finishing with your own case. That way you feel the benefit immediately.

Cheat sheet: how to write a good request

You take this home with you, so you can carry on the very next day. A good request to Legora has four parts:

  • Role and context. Who are you and which case is it for?
  • Task. What exactly do you want?
  • Format. Length, tone, running text or a table?
  • Example. Give an example or paste in the relevant material.

Frequently asked questions about the Legora one-on-one training

Is this a training for one person or for a team?

This is a personal training for one participant. All the time and attention goes to you. If you want to train a whole team, take a look at our incompany Legora group training.

Where does the training take place?

We come to you anywhere in the Netherlands. You work in your own environment, on your own laptop and with your own cases.

Does this training really help me control my AI costs?

That's one of the goals. More and more providers, including Legora, charge based on usage. By prompting more sharply you need fewer attempts and use fewer tokens for the same result. Exactly how much you save depends on your usage and your agreement with Legora, so we can't promise a figure, but working more efficiently helps bring costs down.

Do I need to already have experience with Legora?

No. We start from the basics so you can keep up straight away. If you already have experience, we'll focus on the smarter approaches and the time-saving ways of working. Because it's one-on-one, we match your level exactly.

Is it safe to practise with client data?

We explicitly cover what you can and can't do with confidential client and file data. You'll learn to work safely and know the boundaries afterwards.

Does the whole programme actually fit into two hours?

Yes, because it's one-on-one. We skip what you already know and go deeper into what matters to you. That means we work through the eight modules in a focused way and practise only on cases and tasks relevant to you.

What if I don't yet have a clear task to practise with?

We'll work that out together. We look at your daily work, such as reviewing, due diligence, research and drafting, and jointly decide where the biggest time savings lie for you.
